Sonoma Market's wine department offers it all – from value-oriented wines to limited-production and hard-to-find premium wines. Our wine buyer, Mike Short, has worked in the retail wine business for over 30 years, and has been our wine buyer since 1986.

Mike Short has been an employee of Sonoma Market for 23 years and has been involved in the wine industry for 33 years.

As a wine aficionado himself, Mike takes great pride in our wine selection and regularly reads and researches wine releases and ratings.

He will research rare wine availability and recommend wines for your cellar, for gifts, or for your everyday enjoyment.

Mike appreciates having a job that lets him do what he really enjoys – find and bring in wines that appeal to our customers. And our customers know and appreciate wine and Mike's work as an educated buyer.
