Lourdes is our pastry chef at Sonoma Market. By the time she was in the 8th grade she knew this was the career path she wanted to follow. She studied cake and pastry decoration in Mexico for 2 years, and then continued her studies at Santa Rosa Junior College in baking for an additional year. She has more than 20 years experience making incredible pastry confections. We are thrilled to have her on our baking staff.
Our bakery department is proud to serve over 100 varieties of fresh-baked breads, cakes, cookies, pies, muffins and more. We offer gluten-free and sugar-free items, as well as some of the best artisan-made items we can find, such as Ackerman’s famous coffee cakes, Basque Boulangerie artisan breads, and Sonoma’s own Studebaker’s gourmet cheesecakes. We're also pleased to be the only store in California to currently carry cookies and brownies from the WOW Company. They're made from all natural ingredients, gluten free, and amazingly delicious!
